Portfolio / Aptitude Review
Applicants are assessed through one or more of the following:
- Portfolio review (if available)
- Creative aptitude test
- Design task or visual exercise
No prior design experience is mandatory for most undergraduate programs.
Personal Interaction
A one-on-one interaction with faculty or admissions counsellors to assess:
- Creative thinking & curiosity
- Communication and intent
- Program suitability and career alignment
This step also allows students and parents to ask questions and gain clarity.
Offer Letter & Enrollment
Selected candidates receive an official Offer Letter.
Upon acceptance, students complete the enrollment process by confirming fees and documentation.
Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate Program:
Passed 10+2 from any stream (Arts / Commerce / Science)
Interest in product design, crafts, materials, or luxury markets preferred
Creative aptitude preferred (not mandatory)
Postgraduate Programs
Graduation from a recognised university
Relevant academic or creative background preferred
Short-Term & Aarambh Programs
Open to class 8 onwards, hobby learners, and professionals
No formal qualification required for most programs
Portfolio Requirements
- Portfolios are encouraged but not mandatory for most UG programs
- Can include:
- Sketches, drawings, paintings
- Photography, digital art, videos
- Craft, DIY, or creative projects
- For beginners, on-the-spot creative tasks are provided
International Exposure
- International curriculum collaborations

- Mod’Art x DIA students receive European degree recognition and global fashion exposure
